Jacksonville, Fla. – We at Kids and Communities recently had the opportunity to go on a local news broadcast to talk about something very close to our hearts: the launch of our nonprofit, Kids and Communities, Inc. Our mission is to uplift Jacksonville’s youth by giving them free access to the arts, including music, singing, painting, and other creative outlets.

We’re starting with a centrally located facility that will serve children from all neighborhoods, and our long-term goal is to open centers across the city. We’re also working with city officials on affordable housing initiatives, combining arts education with community development to help strengthen Jacksonville’s neighborhoods.

The launch coincided with our first annual Cash Bash, a music event curated by our founder featuring Florida artists like Kodak Black, Plies, and Pleasure P, alongside a showcase of emerging local talent. Our goal was to give local artists the spotlight they deserve and highlight the incredible creativity happening right here in our city.

“We’ve seen other entertainers give back to their cities, and we always wanted to do the same. But now we can. And we’re all in for the kids.”

Through Kids and Communities, we want to create safe spaces where kids can explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop new skills. This is our way of giving back to Jacksonville — the city that shaped us — while investing in the next generation of artists, thinkers, and leaders.

How you can help: Support Kids and Communities, Inc. by donating, volunteering, or sharing our story. Together, we can give more kids the chance to discover the joy of art and music
